Only one Razzie for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”

Twilight Saga Eclipse

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: It was the most nominated film in the 2010 Golden Raspberry Awards competition, but the results are in and “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is far from the worst. It was beat out in nearly every category for which it was nominated, leaving the stars and the film itself (mostly) unscathed. The only “win” went to Jackson Rathbone, who got Worst Supporting Actor for his work in both “Eclipse” and “The Last Airbender”.

Of the ten categories in which Razzies were awarded this year, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” was nominated in eight. From Worst Picture, to Worst Actress (Kristen Stewart), to Worst Supporting Actor (Jackson Rathbone), to Worst Ensemble Cast, To Worst Screenplay (Melissa Rosenberg), to Worst Director (David Slade), to Worst Prequel/Rip-off/Sequel, “Eclipse” was in the race. It even saw itself nominated twice in the same category: Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson both got nods for Worst Actor.
