Charlie Sheen hoopla sends Jon Cryer to Ellen DeGeneres

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Charlie Sheen has been making all of the headline during this “Two and a Half Men” hiatus which, to be fair, he caused.

But what have his “Men” co-stars been up to now that they are out of work?

Jon Cryer appears to have found temporary employment … as Ellen DeGeneres’ receptionist.

“You really do good work. You do the work of two and a half men,” DeGeneres jokes in a video spoof that will air on the daytime talk show host later today.

“You don’t have to say that every time,” Cryer responds.

Near the end of the clip, which you can see here, DeGeneres thanks Cryer for his assistance and he replies, “You know, I needed the work.”

The show’s season was cancelled by CBS following Sheen’s public fight with “Men” co-creator Chuck Lorre. In the meantime, it has been reported that John Stamos has been approached to possibly replace Sheen, though nothing would happen this season.
