Lindsay Lohan plea deal still possible

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Lindsay Lohan has spent more time in the courtroom than she has on a film set. The former actress will be back in court Thursday to face felony grand theft charges stemming from an incident where Lohan is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a California jewelry story.

Lohan has pled not guilty, and the word has been that a plea deal involving some jail time – anywhere from four to six months — for Lohan was not an option. However, TMZ reports that the plea deal was back on the table as of Wednesday night, and the sides would continue to negotiate as they went to the court on Thursday.

As we reported, no deal was struck Wednesday during a meeting in chambers with Judge Keith Schwartz, Shawn Holley and Danette Meyers,” TMZ writes, adding that the judge “is now allowing Lindsay more time to mull over his offer” of serving at least a few months in jail.

“I am ready for court tomorrow, and I believe that the truth will prevail through all of this,” Lohan told TMZ on Wednesday.
