“Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop” to premiere at SXSW

Conan O'Brien

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Want to know what it was like for Conan O’Brien after his untimely departure from NBC? A documentary following the former “Tonight Show” and current “Conan” show host is scheduled for its world premiere this weekend at Austin’s SXSW Film Conference and Festival.

At the center of the film is O’Brien during his “Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television” tour (the star went on the road to perform for live audiences after his settlement agreement with NBC prohibited him from doing much else). Filmmaker Rodman Flender describes the film as an “intimate portrait” that bears witness to O’Brien’s volatile personal state between the beginning and the end of the 32-city tour.
