“Where is Robert Pattinson” iPhone app = totally over the top

Robert Pattinson

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Last May, I wrote about how Twilight “fandemonium” was getting ridiculous, but this one tops them all: a “Where is Robert” app for iPhone and iPad has been developed, its intention to help fans help track down (::cough:: stalk ::cough::) the star.

Reads the iTunes Store description, “Over 1000 fan submitted pictures! Where is Robert Pattinson right now? Get location news about Robert and find out with this fan app. Get notifications from other fans when he moves!”

It’s hard to decide what’s more bothersome: the fact that this product was released eight months ago and has not been shut down by Pattinson’s legal team, or the fact that someone is profiting from helping others stalk a celebrity, $0.99 at a time.

Let’s hope that true fans have the good sense to stay away from products like this, and leave a very deserving Pattinson in peace.
