Celebrity Apprentice: Star Jones make Nene Leakes look soft

Nene Leakes

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: She may have been infamous for her rabble rousing on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”, but the new season of “Celebrity Apprentice” has found Nene Leakes her match. Though it’s only the second episode, Leakes’ teammate Star Jones has come out with guns blazing, defying early speculation that Leakes would become the bulldog of the show.

Maybe it’s just editing, or perhaps a strategic choice—but Leakes’ character has been suspiciously quiet. The Atlanta “Housewife” has historically seemed to be at the epicenter of all controversies. Yet, early footage has shown plenty of drama arising without Leakes’ help.

It’s not just Star Jones. Lisa Rinna, this week, was screaming and cursing and Dionne Warwick seemed to put the “D” in “Diva”. Even the well-balanced Marlee Matlin described Warwick as “intimidating” in this week’s boardroom, suggesting that the icon be fired.

Usually a fan of Star Jones, I was most unimpressed with her and Dionne Warwick’s grotesque DIVA behavior with a big side of distorted EGO. After watching the episode, it is my sincere hope that Star eats some crow and sends Lisa Rinna a note of apology!!!

I’m all for Nene Leakes, I think it’s a o.k. that regular people can get some of that Hollywood money. I ain’t hating at all. Go for it Nene, get as much as you can, just wish you would kept your family together tho.

I went to High School with NeNe back in the day. From the 9th thru the 11th grades she had a black front tooth. I guess her family could not afford dental care at the time. She also had issues with anger then. On several occasions she was suspended from school because of fighting with her classmates.
