Designer disses portrayal of women on ‘Real Housewives’ series

HollywoodNews.com: The ‘Real Housewives’ series on Bravo is all the talk these days, but one famous designer doesn’t like what is going on with the franchises.

Diane Von Furstenberg revealed that she doesn’t agree with how women are treated with these shows, states New York Magazine.

“You know what I don’t like right now about women in America? I don’t like when they are objectified in the ‘Housewives of Miami’ and the ‘Housewives of’ … you know?” the designer commented.

And when noted that the women choose to participate, she still felt that they are objectified in these roles: “They’re just being encouraged. I just want every woman to know that they can realize their potential — but their potential is not necessarily fake tits.”
