Katy Perry offering merchandise funds to Japan’s earthquake victims Katy Perry is using her current tour to give back to those who are suffering due to the earthquake in Japan.

Perry has announced to her fans that they should buy the “KP light-up wand” at the merchandise stand at her shows, states MTV. All proceeds from the purchase of this item will reportedly go to help the victims of Japan’s recent earthquake.

She also announced that she wants everyone to light up the wands for those suffering in Japan when she sings “Firework” at her upcoming shows.
