Lady Gaga facing more plagiarism claims with “Born This Way”

HollywoodNews.com: It seems that everyone thinks Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” is plagiarized, but this time Madonna has nothing to do with it.

Some believe that Gaga’s song sounds a lot like a song by the nine-member South Korean girl group SNSD, states PopEater. Gaga’s song reportedly sounds like “Be Happy” which was off of the group’s 2010 album ‘Oh!’.

Gaga has already been accused of copying Madonna’s “Express Yourself,” but that matter has since died down a bit.

Do you think Lady Gaga’s song sounds too much like these other songs?

This is such a old story/concept by now! Can we just get over it and enjoy BTW for the smash hit that it is?! With so many pop tunes in existence, if you try hard enough, you can see similarities all over the place with various artists’ songs. This is nothing new. And don’t get me started on hip-hop or rap… the plagiarism there runs rampant! I think there MIGHT be three or four original hip-hop beats that EVERYONE uses ad nauseum.

Ignore the haters and the piggybackers who want to stake a claim to Born This Way… it’s a great and uplifting track and that’s all it needs to be! If you don’t like it then don’t listen to it, don’t buy it, and don’t comment on this article.

I just watched that video and I don’t hear the similarities at all. Case dismissed.
