Captain America trailer on “ET” tonight

By Sean O’Connell A new “Captain America” spot will appear on Entertainment Tonight this evening, promising even more footage of the First Avenger in action as Marvel Comics fans prepare for the July release.

The film stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, an ordinary soldier fighting valiantly for his country in WWII who undergoes an experimental transformation (it involves a shot of super-secret serum) and emerges as Captain America. Hugo Weaving plays Cap’s chief nemesis, The Red Skull, while Joe Johnston directs.

YouTube has a commercial ET used Monday night to tease its “Captain America” footage. We have that below (courtesy of ComingSoon).

So if you are around, tune in to ET tonight for the full “Cap” clip. “Captain America: The First Avenger” will be in theaters on July 22.
