Michael Lohan arrested for domestic violence

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Does the Los Angeles Police Department have a special branch reserved for officers assigned to arrest members of the Lohan family? It seems like every other week, a member of that troubled clan is being picked up on some type of felony charge.

Monday night, it was dad Michael Lohan’s turn to side in the back of a police cruiser. He was arrested in West Hollywood on three felony counts of domestic violence, US Magazine reports, after “an unidentified person called the cops reporting an incident in a private apartment.”

Police documents reveal that Lohan, 50 “has been accused of preventing the report of victimization, false imprisonment and inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant” who elected to remain anonymous.

But because Lohan wasn’t satisfied with just being arrested and felt compelled to waste even more of California’s tax monies, he immediately complained to police of a medical condition, and managed to get admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Lohan’s booking process will resume as soon as he is released from the hospital, US Magazine writes.

His bail has been set at $200,000.
