Natalie Portman’s ‘Black Swan’ dance double is upset

HollywoodNews.com: Natalie Portman has received awards and attention for her ‘Black Swan’ role, but one person is upset for not getting much credit when it comes to the dance that was done.

Sarah Lane was Portman’s dance double in the film and is upset that executives involved with the film allegedly wanted it to seem as if Portman did all the dance work, states UsMagazine.com. “They were trying to create this facade that she had become a ballerina in a year-and-a-half,” Lane said about allegedly not being able to speak about her work on the film.

However, Portman’s fiance and ‘Black Swan’ choreographer Benjamin Millepied told the LA Times a different story: “Honestly, 85% of that movie is Natalie,” adding that Lane only did footwork, the fouettes and one diagonal in the studio.

Do you think the dancer should have received more credit?
