Will Ferrell, Steve Carell tease “The Office” appearance

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Fans of NBC’s “The Office” received a hint last night of where Steve Carell’s Michael Scott could be heading (and if you haven’t watched last night’s episode yet, we advise you to stay off the Internet until you’ve caught up with your DVR).

Now NBC has released an exclusive first look of one of the men being brought in to replace Carell on the long-running sitcom … at least temporarily.

The site has a clip teasing Will Ferrell’s appearance on “The Office. View it below.

Why are we excited? For so many reasons. First, it’s Ferrell’s return to network television for the first time since leaving “Saturday Night Live” for movie stardom. Secondly, this is the closest thing we’ll see to an “Anchorman” reunion, as plans for that sequel seem to have fallen through.

Ferrell will be on “The Office” on Thursday, April 14. But will he stay?
