Kristen Stewart gets naked in “On the Road”

Kristen Stewart On The Road

By Kim Palacios Will Kristen Stewart take it all off in “On the Road”? According to Hollywood Life’s Stephanie Wenger and Russ Weakland, Stewart “doesn’t shy away from being constantly naked. In fact, she is nude in her very first scene and it only gets more racy from there.”

Stewart will be playing the role of Marylou, who is believed to be based on real-life associate of Kerouac, Luanne Henderson, one of the earliest of the Beat muses who did much to inspire and inflame the passions of Kerouac. She was married to well-known Beatnik, Neal Cassady, for a time, until they had their marriage annulled so he could marry his pregnant girlfriend. Described as “beautiful with long curly hair, blue eyes and a wild spirit”, her character features prominently in “On the Road” and under other aliases in Kerouac’s other works.

In “On the Road”, Marylou marries, then divorces, Dean, yet carries on a love affair with him irrespective of their divorce. Added to the mix is Dean’s friend, Sal, who sleeps with Marylou as well. In addition to sex scenes with each, the movie script will reportedly depict a threesome that takes place in the back seat of a car.

The upcoming film will not be Stewart’s first role as a young, oversexed teen. She played underage stripper and prostitute Mallory in last year’s “Welcome to the Rileys.”

@commonsense Admittedly, original books are different from adapted screenplays. This article comments on rumors about what may be in the screenplay, as reported by Hollywood Life.

As a “Twilight” fan, I could sit here and name many things that happened in the book, but not the movies, and vice versa (e.g., the “Eclipse” movie was chock full of things that never happened in Meyer’s original text)

Final note: I actually have read “On The Road”, years ago, though I am planning to reread it prior to the release of the film. If you believe what is rumored to appear in the screenplay conflicts with the book, I would love to hear your interpretation.

I am happy that Kristen is part of this movie.

Kristen is an actress. If a role is racy so what? She again is a “actress”. I personally think its a good thing, she is not Bella is real life and has every right as a creative person too do her job. and if a role says a three some. Then she her character is doing a threesome. So what?

Miss Stewart has said that “On the Road” was her “first favorite book”, so I would think she knew exactly what the film was going to require in terms of nudity & sexuality – it’s the Twilight Fans that have to catch up! This project has been kicked around for so many years, since Marlon Brando’s days, it is exciting to see it finally come about. Can only hope that the 2 male leads can keep up with the female talent – Stewart, Adams, & Dunst.

Stewart naked? Very doubtful. I’ll believe it when I see it. They kept saying that she’d be naked In “Rileys” and that was a total crock. I’m guessing even if she is naked in this, they won’t show anything (i.e. she’ll be strategically positioned so we don’t see any butt, vag or nips). More BS marketing to push a low-budget indie no one wants to see.
