Linkin Park, Slash, Iglesias join for charity album

HollywoodNews.com: Artists such as Linkin Park, Enrique Iglesias, Slash, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Counting Crows have contributed new songs to the nonprofit group Music for Relief to support Save the Children’s emergency response efforts in Japan.

The exclusive and growing catalog of songs can be downloaded at www.downloadtodonate.org for a donation of $10 or more. All contributions will go to Save the Children for the duration of the campaign, which runs through May 11.

“Children are always the most vulnerable in any disaster,” said Charles MacCormack, president and CEO of Save the Children. “We are grateful this partnership with Music for Relief will help address the immediate and ongoing needs of children and families impacted by this tragedy.”
