Rapper Snoop Dogg to headline Nate Dogg memorial concert

hollywoodnews.com: Hip Hop artist Nate Dogg (born Nathaniel D. Hale) was laid to rest today in his home town of Long Beach, California. The performer, 41, died of stroke-related complications on March 15th. Among funeral attendees were long-time consorts Warren G. (with whom he performed the 1995 hit single “Regulate”), The Game, and Snoop Dogg.
While only 1,000 fans were permitted entry to what was originally slated to be a public funeral (but later had to be reined in for fear of overwhelming crowds), a commemorative concert starring Snoop Dogg was planned for the same evening. It was not clear how many attendees could be expected at the concert, which was scheduled to take place at 7:00PM the same evening as the funeral at the Queen Mary Dome.
