Chris Brown “Dancing With Stars” appearance divides fans

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Chris Brown’s fans aren’t ready to forgive and forget the artist’s behavior, it seems.

The response to Brown’s appearance on Tuesday night’s “Dancing With the Stars” has been angry, as social media blew up with talks of boycotts and protests.

“I did not watch Dancing with the Stars last night until the last 2 minutes. I boycotted the show cause of Chris Brown. He sickens me,” tweeted @Sweetprincess17.

“funny how #ChrisBrown sings about #ChangedMan and he threw a fit at #GMA 2 weeks ago. #losing,” added @jeremiahharbert.

To be fair, not all the reactions were negative, with some fans Tweeting that Brown’s performance of “Yeah 3X” and a medley of “Forever” and “Beautiful People” was “so sick” and “great.”

Brown remains a polarizing figure in the entertainment world at the moment. According to MTV.com, even “Dancing” host Tom Bergeron and contestant Cheryl Burke objected publically to Brown’s invitation to the show, with Bergeron “stating that he would feel compelled to ask the young singer about his legal snafu.”

your article is not credible from the first sentence. his “fans” enjoyed his performance. those who did not like it were not his “fans”; they were his haters and those who pray for his demise.. so this is bs. the only ones wants that want him to fall are the members of the media.. but they are irrelevant because chris brown has a strong fan base and we will hold him down no matter what.
