“Real Housewives” looking toward Toronto?

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Are the “Housewives” still real north of the border?

We’re about to find out, now that the reality television series – which has spanned everywhere from Orange County to Atlanta, GA – is casting in Toronto.

Vancouver-based Lark “first put out the call for connected Canadian women to summon their inner-Bethenny Frankel for a local spin-off series,” THR wrote Wednesday morning.

But Lark quickly added that the Canadian version of the “Real Housewives” franchise “has not yet been green lit” yet, and is “still in the early stages of casting.”

What do you think? Do you want to see a “Housewives” version from Toronto? Does it matter the location, or do we just want to see colorful characters in a bizarre setting?
