Castiel (Misha Collins) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) that Fate is very upset with the two of them and the only way they can stay alive is to kill her. Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Bret Matthews.

Bobby must be a hunter in this alternative history if his library is anything to go by. But in one set of pictures Dean is driving another car and it looks like Sam was driving an suv .Maybe Jessica was never killed and he’s married. Both brothers looked better off. maybe they aren’t hunters.
