“Hangover” sequel trailer: If it ain’t broke …

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Poor Justin Bartha.

Sure, the actor can claim he was part of the first “Hangover,” which went on to become the highest-grossing R-rated comedy in Hollywood history. But because of the story’s structure, he had to be missing for, basically, the movie’s best parts.

Guess what’s happening to him in the sequel?

According to this new, full-length trailer for “The Hangover Part II,” Bartha will be sitting out the wolfpack’s Bangkok exploits once again. Come to think of it, virtually everything about this new clip mirrors the first “Hangover,” with Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zack Galifianakis waking up to fresh disasters in a new country, and this time having to track down Helms’ soon-to-be brother-in-law.

If it ain’t broke, right?

Todd Phillips returns to direct “The Hangover” Part II,” which will be in theaters on May 26. Expect its box office tallies to match Thailand’s gross national product.
