Lindsay Lohan tells “Source Code” press she isn’t drunk

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Stepping out onto the red carpet for the new movie “Source Code,” which opens in theaters today, tabloid sensation Lindsay Lohan had to defend embarrassing pictures of the “actress” falling down by telling press she wasn’t drunk and has not been drinking.

“I was NOT drinking, nor do I drink,” Lohan told TMZ. “I was with my brother, sister and friends. I was making a joke. They’re trying to make something out of nothing.”

Lohan was photographed falling down on a New York sidewalk. To her credit, she walked the whole red carpet without tumbling. In Lindsay’s world, that’s an accomplishment.

“Funny how making a joke can turn into…. well, me falling and a story.. #twisted,” Lindsay Tweeted after she was photographed on the ground outside New York’s Motor City Bar.

But what was the joke? Was it funny for anyone? Or do you think Lindsay is drinking again? Let us know!
