Blake Lively reveals who convinced her to dye hair for film

HollywoodNews.com: In ‘Green Lantern,’ Blake Lively will toss her famous blonde locks for a brunette hairdo, something that was encouraged by someone completely random.

Lively revealed that her bodyguard was the one who convinced her to dye her hair for the role, states Access Hollywood.

“This man, who I’ve never heard him say more than four words, [someone] you would never pin him as a comic book fan, as soon as it came out that I was playing Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire, he was like, ‘You have to dye your hair brown!’” Lively revealed about her bodyguard’s opinion in order to make the fans happy.

Lively’s bodyguard added that fans might freak out if she did the role as a blonde, so she jumped on board in order to keep herself safe.

The role of a bodyguard gets more and more complex everyday. Perhaps people will be able to see us for the deeply complex people were are instead of just a bunch of goons who like to beat up people.
