Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert big winners at country awards show

By Sean O’Connell Taylor Swift continued her dominance of the country music scene, taking home the Entertainer of the Year trophy at Sunday night’s 46th Academy of Country Music awards.

“This is the first time I’ve ever won this, and I’m just losing my mind,” Swift said. “The fact that this is from the fans makes it so beautiful.”

Miranda Lambert seemed to take home every other trophy Sunday night, earning Song and Video of the Year for “The House that Built Me,” as well as Single Record of the Year and top Female Vocalist.

“I love country music fans. Thanks for coming out to the shows, and thanks for believing in me. I love y’all so much,” Lambert said.

As for Best Male Vocalist, that went to Brad Paisley, who said, “I’m so thankful to the fans of country music for [giving me] this shot to do this for a living. I’m so proud of the other nominees. I’m friends with all of you.”

As for those other nominees (and winners), they can be found right here.
