Colin Farrell bears his fangs in “Fright Night” photos

By Sean O’Connell We’ve always kind of assumed that Colin Farrell was a bloodsucking creature of the night, so it’s comforting that these new images confirm what we’ve …

What’s that? They’re from a movie?

Oh. Never mind.

Farrell, in fact, is playing a vampire named Jerry in Craig Gillespie’s “Fright Night,” from DreamWorks Studios.

The picture – a remake of Tom Holland’s beloved 1985 comedy — also stars Anton Yelchin (“Star Trek”), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (“Kick-Ass”) and Toni Collette. The plot’s pretty simple. A vamp moves in next door to a high school cool kid and causes all sorts of troubles. Today, the studio released a handful of new images, which we’ve posted below.

“Fright Night” will be in theaters in August. Keep it tuned here for updates as they come!
