Demi Lovato talks about why she finally checked into rehab

HollywoodNews.com: Demi Lovato is finally ready to talk about the rough few months she had last year and she hopes to help other young girls with her story.

Lovato recently revealed in ‘Seventeen’ magazine that she checked into rehab after a “nervous breakdown,” states UsMagazine.com. However, she didn’t realize at first that she needed to make this move.

“My parents and my manager pulled me aside and said, ‘You need to get some help.’ It was an intervention,” Lovato said about the situation.

Luckily she soon agreed and wanted to have a fresh start without all the “demons.”

This is something she is encouraging others to do as well. She hopes that when others experience a dark time, they will turn to family and friends instead of hurting themselves.
