‘Glee’ compared to “puddle of HIV” by author Bret Easton Ellis

HollywoodNews.com: ‘American Psycho’ author Bret Easton Ellis made quite a controversial comparison on his Twitter when he decided to discuss ‘Glee.’

Ellis reportedly posted a statement on Twitter in regard to the show that has fans very upset, states UsMagazine.com. “I like the idea of Glee, but why is it that every time I watch an episode I feel like I’ve stepped into a puddle of HIV?” Ellis commented.

But then when fans charged back at him, he continued with the controversy: “No, I wasn’t drunk last night. I was watching Chris Colfer singing ‘Le Jazz Hot’ and felt like I had suddenly come down with the hivs.”

The cast of ‘Glee’ has not commented on what was said.

What do you think about the comments? Should ‘Glee’ respond?

Bret Easton Ellis has the sort of crazy homophobic fear-mongering toxicity exhibited by the uber-atrocious Orson Scott Card, but the cure to their pervasive ugliness is mocking laughter, with a pinch of pity that they’ve forgotten how to be human.

wow is this guy crazy? Why would you compare a great show like glee to a puddle of HIV? I bet this guy never even tried watching glee.Like my sister she had never watched glee at all and started talking crap about it,and than for some crazy reason she had a dream that she was on glee (crazy right?) so she gave it a try and it turns out she loves glee, most people talk crap only because the show is great but more than half on these people that talk crap most likely have never even seen glee. This man comparing a show to HIV is sick and needs help.
