Natalie Portman’s dance double wants her side to be told

HollywoodNews.com: Natalie Portman has been avoiding the dance drama with ‘Black Swan,’ but her dance double wants her side to be known.

Sarah Lane has reportedly been interviewed by ’20/20′ and is defending her stance on the whole thing, states RadarOnline.com. Lane claims she wasn’t looking for fame with the film, but doesn’t want viewers thinking Portman did it all when she believes most of the dance shots are her.

It is believed that the belief that Portman did so much of the dancing was a big part in her winning the Oscar.

Lane claims that 80% of the dancing is Portman only if you include the face shots as dancing shots.

The full interview airs at 10/9c.

Do you think Natalie Portman did most of the dancing?

Sarah Lane is quite pretty and sweet! I don’t think she’s being malicious.
I think Sarah Lane should have at least been credited as Natalie Portman’s dance double in the movie. Keira Knightley was once Natalie Portman’s body double and look at her career now. I’m very interested in hearing more from Sarah Lane, because her story speaks to me. Hers is a story about working your ass off, rising to the top of your game, and having Hollywood and a big actress exploit you for your hard-earned talents. I think ballet is a fine and beautiful art that already goes unnoticed by the mainstream, so more power to the underdog!
