Dog the Bounty Hunter bails out Nicholas Cage

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Posting bail for Nicholas Cage this afternoon following his New Orleans arrest was reality show star Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” fame. Said Chapman to E! News in a statement when questioned about his relationship to Cage and his role in coming to the actor’s aid, “I am a truly dedicated fan of Mr. Cage and will not be granting any interviews about my client as I wish to respect his privacy.”

Chapman’s show, “Dog the Bounty Hunter”, was first suspended, then cancelled in late 2007, following Chapman’s use of racial slurs in connection with his son’s African-American girlfriend.
