Hollywoodnews.com: Now that Glenn Beck has departed the Fox News airwaves, he plans to leave New York City.
Beck told TV Newser on Sunday that he has put his Connecticut mansion on the market, and that the next steps he takes with his Mercury Radio Arts will begin somewhere else.
“The last thing I will be doing,” Beck said, “I will be leaving New York City. As we build a new media I’m not building it in New York.”
The 50 some odd employees Beck has at Mercury Radio will continue to work out of a NY office, though, TV Newser reports. Beck signed off of Fox News on April 8. He said his future plans will involve finding out how bets to deliver the news to younger viewers.
“What you are about to see in a few months is a new way to communicate with each other,” Beck said, explaining that its his hope to “build a way to deliver news directly to the youth of America.”
