Simon Cowell not splitting “X Factor” time

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Britain’s loss is our gain, once again, as Simon Cowell confirmed that he will not split his time between England’s version of “The X Factor” and the new version the uber-judge prepares to launch in the States.

ITV tells the BBC that it is “talking about ways in which [Cowell] can have an on-screen presence” with the series, but it will not be necessary for Cowell to circumnavigate the globe as he so often did while he was part of the “American Idol” panel.

The U.S. version of the “The X Factor,” an anticipated television event, begins in September. While I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this new season of “Idol,” it will be delightful to have Cowell back on the airwaves. He’s a breath of judgmental air.
