Nic Cage back to work after weekend arrest

By Sean O’Connell Nicolas Cage isn’t going to let a pesky thing like an arrest for domestic abuse stop him from earning a paycheck.

The Oscar-winning actor returned to work in New Orleans shortly after being detained for domestic abuse, disturbing the peace and public intoxication over the weekend. But those on the set tell the media that Cage is the ultimate professional, and never causes any problems on set.

‘He is always extremely professional. He is never late, no tantrums,” a source told

‘He is a dedicated actor when he is at work and I don’t think people would hire him so much if he wasn’t. He’s in fine shape and ready to work.’
