Hollywoodnews.com: Warner Bros. took to the airwaves Thursday night to promote this summer’s “Green Lantern,” a superhero property based on a DC Comic that stars Ryan Reynolds as a test pilot handpicked by an alien race to join a fraternal order of universe protectors.

The clip aired on “American Idol” and “30 Rock,” and explained more of the cosmic back story as it provided knowledgable fans with more footage of Reynolds’ costume and powers.
