Flavor Flav flies the coop on chicken joint

Flavor Flav

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Looks like Flavor Flav will be flying the coop on his Clinton, IA chicken joint, “Flavor Flav’s Chicken”, a joint venture between the recording artist-slash-reality television star and business partner Nick Cimino.

“I had a licensing agreement with Nick Cimino and that’s all we had,” said Flav to TMZ. “It was his business to run from there and the business was not run right.”

Among the star’s grievances were general mismanagement and major quality issues that compromised his reputation. TMZ reported that the star, upon visiting the restaurant, found food that had been expired for days. “Let me be straight up with you,” said the star. “I went up inside there on April 2 and I found potato salad that expired on February 28. And it’s then when I realized I can’t do business with this man and I really hope no one ate those potatoes.”
