Does Robert Pattinson deserve another Razzie nom?

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Francis Lawrence’s adaptation of the wildly popular “Water for Elephants” might not have performed up to expectations (the film earned $16.8 million in its debut weekend), but does that mean the film’s lead, Robert Pattinson deserves a Razzie?

Hardly. But that didn’t stop Tom O’Neil from asking L.A. Times readers if the frequently nominated “Twilight” star will suffer a similar fate when the anti-Oscars are announced later this year.

As O’Neil notes, Pattinson has been nominated for three Razzies for his performances in the “Twilight” saga and the romance-drama “Remember Me.”

But Pattinson wasn’t the problem with “Elephants,” which made a few changes to Sara Gruen’s book and might have alienated the novel’s core support group.

Anyway, O’Neil’s poll can be found at Awards Tracker, while Pattinson next can be seen in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.”
