Hollywoodnews.com: Do we honestly need a trailer for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” the eighth and final installment of his historic franchise? Couldn’t Warner Bros. simply put up a title card and a date, then sit back and wait for all of that box-office money to come rolling in?
Well, yes. But the “Potter” franchise never has been about cashing in or selling out. And so, as the series finally draws to a close, the studio has cut a magnificent trailer that teases the heartbreak, devastation and ultimate redemption that will be on screen in July.
Dying to see it? Here you go:
To say I’m merely going to “miss” this franchise undersells the emotion. J.K. Rowling’s final book was such a satisfying conclusion to an epic journey. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” will be in theaters in 3D on July 15.
