Scarlett Johansson, Sean Penn cuddly in D.C.

By Sean O’Connell So much is being said of the celebrity roasters who took it to Donald Trump during the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C. this weekend that a celebrity couple sitting in the audience and being all “touchy feely” currently is flying under the radar.

Not for long, though.

Eyewitnesses from the event told US Weekly that Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn couldn’t keep their hands off of each other during the dinner, with ScarJo spending a portion of the meal on Penn’s lap.

“It happened right as the main course of the dinner was being put on the table,” the witness said.

“Scarlett was pawing at Sean, holding on to his hip while he was smoking. She gave him a short kiss,” the witness says. “But then they took a walk some 30 feet away, broke off from the group and kissed some more.”

US Weekly added that the two “later separated, only to be reunited at the Vanity Fair afterparty.”

“Around 1 a.m. Sean showed up and he and Scarlett were immediately side by side for the rest of the night,” a source told the magazine. “When they were walking out the door, Sean stopped her, took off his jacket and put it on her shoulders, saying, ‘It’s cold out there.’ They then grabbed hands and walked out before 3 a.m.”

Good for them. No more hiding. Why would they? The age difference? Please. If they’re together, be together … paparazzi be damned.
