Nene Leakes goes AWOL on “Celebrity Apprentice”

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: “Nene, Nene, wherefore art though, Nene?” asked Li’l John on tonight’s episode of “Celebrity Apprentice”, amid he and teammates calling Leakes repeatedly to try to learn her whereabouts so that she could help with their task.

When Board member Ivanka Trump visited Team Backbone headquarters to see how the task was progressing, she was shocked when the team revealed Leakes’ disappearance. “Nene has neither e-mailed them nor called them nor given any explanation as to why she’s disappeared…with that said, Backbone seems to be working harmoniously under LaToya despite the fact that Nene has gone totally AWOL.”

Catching wind of the development, Donald Trump called Leakes directly, advising her that if she left the show it would “follow [her] for the rest of [her] life.” Said Leakes in response, “You accommodated Star. You have seven talents that are still left here. You can’t just accommodate her—that’s not fair.”

The bold move came in the wake of Mr. Trump reconfiguring the teams such that Leakes and show nemesis Star Jones would no longer have to work together. In a side interview, Leakes later commented. “I really feel that Star got her way. Mr. Trump bought into her bull…I don’t have to stay here and put up with BS to raise money for my charity—the best thing for me is to just walk away.”

That’s a cheap way out. The point is to deal with these problems to win the money for charity.

Nene is a pain in the neck. She is always complaining about something. She is unlikable. There is nothing to admire about her.She complained about Star from day one.Win money for your charity is the point of the program.Shut your mouth and keep quiet.
