Lady Gaga performing, promoting “Born This Way” in Cannes

By Sean O’Connell Lady Gaga is on a blistering media tour, supporting her new album “Born This Way.” Fans flocked to HBO over the weekend to see Gaga’s latest concert film. And now we’re learning that she’ll entertain the masses at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

The pop singer and media mogul “will head to Cannes to perform a live concert on Wednesday on Canal Plus’ hit show Le Grand Journal whose stage takes over the Croisette during the festival,” THR notes.

Gaga is expected to field questions from host Michel Denisot, thren sing her hit single “Judas” to the gathered crowd.

And you thought Cannes was only for film freaks. Music is becoming a major part of the annual fest … or, at the very least, musical acts are figuring out how best to promote themselves with stop in Cannes. THR adds that Kanye West will perform at a Cannes festival party at some point next week.
