Dennis Quaid joins Bradley Cooper for “The Words”

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Dennis Quaid, who recently starred as the supportive father of shark-bitten surfer Bethany Hamilton in the surprise hit “Soul Surfer,” has attached himself to a thriller structured around plagiarism.

Quaid has joined “The Words,” a feature that will mark the directorial debut of Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, who’s screenplay credits include last year’s “Tron: Legacy.” And Quaid joins previously cast actors Jeremy Irons and Bradley Cooper of “The Hangover” fame, THR reports.

Quaid “will play Clay Hammond, a celebrated writer, in the tale in which Cooper’s character, another writer, discovers the price he must pay for stealing the work of another man, played by Irons.”

No details yet on when the film begins production or when it will be in theaters, but we’ll continue to track the movie’s progress.
