Carrie Underwood to Lauren Alaina: Let’s take this “on the road!”

Hollywoodnews.com: Country music superstar Carrie Underwood performed alongside Lauren Alaina last night during the “American Idol” finale, and stood where she stood as a finalist a few years back. So when Underwood turned and whispered something to the eventual runner up, we all grew curious as to what words of advice were shared.
So, what did she say?
“Wow, that was incredible. We should take that on the road,’” Underwood reportedly whispered to Alaina, according to THR, which has been comprehensive with its “Idol” coverage all season long.
An Underwood-Alaina tour would be a blockbuster on the country circuit, which is where we expect to see eventual “Idol” winner Scotty McCreery in time.
“Carrie has been my Idol since she was on this show in Scotty’s position,” Alaina said after the finale. “I love Carrie – she is amazing, I got to sing with her that makes me feel pretty awesome.”
When you are a finalist on “Idol,” there’s no real way to lose. Alaina will have as strong a career as McCreery despite her second-place finish. And having Underwood’s support will only help her star shine brighter in time.
