Lady Gaga is the “Hollywood Celebrity of the Week”

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: For one week only, Lady Gaga could be yours for less than a dollar.

That’s how much the pop sensation was charging for her new album, “Born This Way,” on Amazon earlier this week. It was a rare two-day sale, but also a reminder of how in tune Gaga is with her fan base, rewarding these Little Monsters for their loyalty with affordable access to her coveted music.

Slashing prices is a humble, restrained move from an artist who is known for anything but. Which is why, as her sensational media tour in support of “Born This Way” continues, Gaga reminded everyone of her extraordinary performance skills.

Sometimes it involves taking over the “American Idol” stage for the reality competition’s anticipated finale. Other times it involves riding a zipline through New York City so she can land on stage at “Good Morning America” and sing for her fans:

Lady Gaga was born this way, and her fans love her for every inch of it. One fan, in particular, loves her a little too much. Because of the impact she has on pop culture and the entertainment industry, it is our great pleasure to name Lady Gaga our “Hollywood Celebrity of the Week.”
