Singer Sean Kingston badly injured in Miami jet ski accident

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Rapper/singer Sean Kingston was hospitalized following a jet ski accident in Miami, during which Kingston reportedly drove his watercraft into a piece of the bridge connecting Palm Island to the MacArthur Causeway. According to TMZ, a female passenger was aboard Kingston’s craft, and both the rapper/singer and his companion were rescued by a good Samaritan.

Though a representative of Kingston confirmed the accident, no other official details were made public; some reports assert that the accident was “bad”, with rumors that Kingston is being treated in the trauma ward, and in critical condition, factoring into the story.

A native of Miami, Kingston achieved fame in 2007 with the release of “Beautiful Girls”. Other popular songs include the 2009 dance single “Fire Burning” and a 2010 collaboration with Justin Bieber, “Eenie Meenie”.

Thoughts and prayers are with Sean. As for jet skis, as a boater and Jet Ski rider I’ve seen so many near collisions. Many people on jet skis don’t pay attention to where they are going or know the rules of boating, such as who has the right away. There is more to riding them than seeing how fast you can go.
