Rihanna responds to music video criticism: just a rockstar

HollywoodNews.com: Rihanna doesn’t understand why everyone is criticizing her latest music video for “Man Down” as she is just trying to express herself.

Rihanna doesn’t think everyone should be putting down the video where her character kills a man who commits sexual assault because she is nobody’s parent, states TMZ. “I’m a 23 year old rockstar with NO KIDS! What’s up with everybody wantin me to be a parent? I’m just a girl, I can only be your/our voice!” Rihanna wrote on Twitter in response to the claims that her video implies murder is acceptable as revenge.

Rihanna went on to comment that she is making art and parents should be the one setting examples. She finished with stating parents cannot hide their children from the real world.

What do you think about her video?
