Matt Bomer is the “Hollywood TV Star of the Week”

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Sorry, Franklin and Bash. Our favorite pair on the small screen remains con man Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) and FBI Special Agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) on USA Network’s suspenseful and incredibly smart “White Collar,” which just entered its third season.

For those who’ve yet to catch on to the award-winning program (it nabbed the coveted “Favorite TV Obsession” trophy at the 2010 People’s Choice Awards, with good reason), “White Collar” finds Bomer’s convict assisting DeKay’s law-enforcer as part of a strange work-release program. Together, these actors form the ideal yin-and-yang that drives intelligent cable dramas like “Damages,” “Dexter” and “White Collar.”

“The great thing about the writing on this show is that there is a lot of foreshadowing. Nothing ever comes out of the blue … even if it’s one line, three episodes earlier,” Bomer recently told TV Guide. “One of the things we always talk about is ‘how do you give it up?’ Is there always gonna be the next big score? Will there always be something more tempting?”

Right now there’s nothing more tempting to us than new episodes of “White Collar,” thanks to Bomer’s spectacular character work as slick con artist Neal. He’ll be heating up screens all summer, so be sure to tune in and learn why we’ve proudly named Matt Bomer of “White Collar” our “Hollywood TV Star of the Week.”
