Avengers, Dark Knight big draws at Licensing Expo

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: It’s hard to keep track of the number of festivals used by the major studios to help generate advance buzz for upcoming blockbusters.

It seems every week there is a Wonder-Con, Hero Complex or Comic Con attracting fans seeking the latest glimpse at movies on the horizon.

ComingSoon is doing a bang-up job covering the Licensing International Expo, which is about to get underway in Las Vegas. This morning, the site has some incredibly cool shots of early promotional images for such anticipated hits as “The Dark Knight Rises,” “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “The Avengers.” Most are just logos, but some (like “Dark Knight” and “Avengers” actually have imagery to play with.

They also get credited for linking to the incredible “Avengers” poster, which we’ve pasted below.

Head over to the site to see what they have up. And follow us all week as we bring updates from the Las Vegas expo, where we are bound to hear more news about 2012’s biggest blockbusters.
