hollywoodnews.com: “This offer is not made in jest,” insists the second paragraph of Larry Flynt’s open letter to former congressman Anthony Wiener. Said Hustler-founder and free speech advocate Flynt, elsewhere in his letter to Wiener, “I would like to make you an offer of employment at Flynt Management Group, LLC in our Internet group.”

Despite the media circus that resulted from the former congressman’s antics when he engaged in distasteful activity through his offiial twitter account (and later lied about it to the press), Flynt is not about mocking Wiener. “We are a serious corporation which, as you know, has been heavily involved in the political environment of this country for over thirty-five years. Our key missions have consistently included the crucial fight of battling hypocrisy within the federal and state governments…I feel that your unfortunate resignation is a prime example of unfounded political pressure and the hypocrisy that has invaded democracy in Washington D.C.”

Included in Flynt’s deal is a 20% raise above Wiener’s congressional salary, and a relocation package that would cover Wiener’s moving expenses for coming to Beverly Hills.

That is AWESOME! Wiener did absolutely NOTHING against the law, or even morally “wrong” as far as I’m concerned. He sent someone a few photos. BIG DEAL. Oh, but he’s in a special position and we hold him to a higher standard — HOGWASH. The people in this country have become so self righteous and judgmental that they’ve lost all grasp of reality. THE REALITY — you are all no better than Anthony Wiener, you disgusting hypocrites. GO LARRY!! YOU ARE THE ONLY VOICE OF REASON IN THIS COUNTRY. I hope he takes the job.
