‘Jersey Shore’ cast reportedly knew nothing of replacement rumors

HollywoodNews.com: While MTV denies that they will be recasting for Season 6 of ‘Jersey Shore,’ the cast wasn’t even aware the rumor was out.

The cast was reportedly in the dark about the whole claim that they wouldn’t be back after filming Season 5, states RadarOnline.com. The cast is reportedly pretty happy with their current deals so they might not have plans to leave.

However, the main stars of the show will be venturing out onto spin-offs so it seems likely that they might leave ‘Jersey Shore.’

Do you think the cast will stay on for Season 6?

Would MTV be crazy enough to mess with the number one show on the network?? Well, GREED and STUPITITY have killed many a top series in history. It has been reported that MTV is not happy giving these stars a reported $100,000 per episode, to save money they may re-cast the hit show! Totaly insane if true, those saleries are ‘pocket change’ compared to the multi MILLIONS MTV makes on commercial time, re-runs, HUGE DVD sales, and product sales (they own the Jersey Shore trademark). Share the wealth MTV with these young people who gave you this number one hit show. Most ‘fan sites’ say kids WON’T WATCH if a new cast is hired. “This isn’t ‘Real World’ where we like cast changes – these kids ARE JERSEY SHORE!” Hear that advertisers! Don’t buy commercial time on Season 6 if a new cast appears…..WE WON’T BE WATCHING.
