“True Blood” season premiere numbers top last season’s bow
By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: “True Blood” sunk its teeth into some record-setting numbers when it premiered on Sunday night.
The season four debut drew 5.4 million viewers at 9 p.m., which just topped the season three bow of 5.1 million, THR reports.
The trade says that an 11 p.m. encore of the show “added 1 million more viewers for a cume of 6.4 million on premiere night.”
Will the show maintain these numbers? It’s likely, as ratings for season three were higher for the finale than they were for the premiere.
