Was Jonathan Rhys Meyers hospitalization for attempted suicide?

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been hospitalized in London following what is being reported as a possible suicide attempt involving pills.

The 33-year-old star of “The Tudors” and “From Paris, With Love” was “found slumped on the floor of his home Tuesday night by paramedics answering an emergency call,” according to The Sun.

The paper adds that Meyers was “taken to a hospital near his home in Maida Vale, Central London, on Tuesday night” and released in the early morning hours. When approached by reporters, Meyers had no comment.

Earlier this month, the Irish actor checked into a rehabilitation center in South Africa for help with his addictions.
