Chord Overstreet out as “Glee” makes cast changes

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: There has been some major shakeups in the hallways and classrooms on the set of FOX’s smash-hit sitcom “Glee,” some which are positive and one that’s negative.

Series creator Ryan Murphy, weeks after finally laying out plans for the cast’s “graduation,” revealed that Chord Overstreet’s option “has not been picked up, meaning Sam may not be back to McKinley High on a regular basis,” according to THR.

To help fill space left by the void, as well as to develop their own characters, Harry Shum Jr. and Darren Criss have been promoted to the status of series regulars.

“I have no idea what to expect in Season 3, but I think it’s going to be nothing but positives,” Criss told the trade from the ongoing “Glee” tour.

What do you thin of the changes?

Terrible choice. Sam was the emotional highlight of last season in the sense where Kurt/Blaine were focused on and ended up being obnoxious overkill, but Sam was just an enjoyable character to watch develop. There is no relevance of Mike Chang in the least. Think this over, Ryan Murphy…..listen to the fans, they are disappointed!
